A little about me: I've been an artisan since 2006, with a small business focusing on soft, portable Chalkboard Play Mats (TM) -- my original design, developed in 2005 -- along with 80s-inspired Ribbon Barrettes and other fun accessories.

I work out of a small studio in Claremont, NH, and bring my Chalkboard Play Mats to juried craft shows in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Mohegan Sun in CT, and Maine -- including Maine's beloved Fryeburg Fair.

My original-design Chalkboard Play Mats (TM) have been featured in magazines in Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as West Coast Families Magazine, Best of Etsy on Twitter, and in several Etsy Treasuries, blogs, and gift guides.

Super fun fact -- I was the exclusive Ribbon Barrettes maker for XANADU ON BROADWAY in New York City!  :)

The "barrette girl" drawing (in header art) is by the very talented Reyetso, a Canadian artist who is also my daughter.
